SAME DAy Crowns

Crowns are dental restorations that are intended for teeth with large amounts of original tooth structure missing. This can arise from a number of reasons such as a large filling, tooth fracture, or teeth that have had a root canal. Conventionally, a crown requires two visits. The first visit the tooth is prepared and an impression is taken so that the crown can be made at a dental lab. This could take up to 1-2 weeks before having the crown ready to cement at a second appointment. With modern CAD CAM technology we are now able to digitally scan a tooth and utilize an in office milling system to have a tooth coloured crown made the same day, saving you from having to make a second visit to the dentist.
